Following the good showing of Raaz-The Mystery Continues at the box office, the Bhatts are ready to roll out a sequel to this as well. The current Raaz was the second in the series and if reports are to be believed, then a third is due to follow. The first Raaz starred Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea and had been directed by Vikram Bhatt.
Riding the good opening that the film has received at the box office, Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt have decided to team up with Mohit Suri again for the third flick in the series. They will also keep their faith with actor Emraan Hashmi, who is, any way, a part of the extended Bhatt family. The actor has created any waves recently, with his last release being Jannat, which was a hit last year. He plays the lead in the Raaz No 3. Lead actress Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman do not figure in the cast as the makers want a completely fresh look for the sequel. It will be remembered that the first Raaz had nothing in common with the current flick. And in keeping with that tradition, the next version will have a fresh feel to it with no reminders from the past, except for Emraan. Sequels seem to be doing quite well in Bollywood, what with Golmaal Returns and Lage Raho Munnabhai, sequels of Golmaal and Munnabhai MBBS respectively, faring very well at the box office.
